Please stay, Michelle

Hah, wat wordt het een spannende nacht en dag. Jammer dat ik vorig jaar de cursus Amerikaanse politiek volgde - en niet dit jaar - want de professor van het vak is een geboren entertainer (en Amerika-kenner, uiteraard) en heeft wellicht weer een heerlijke opvoering klaar voor de lessen van deze week. 

Als Obama het Witte Huis moet verlaten, moet ook de aimabele Michelle haar biezen pakken. Een vrouw met karakter én stijl want je moet het haar nageven: she knows how to dress. En deep down ben ik wel een fan van de conservatieve 'over the knee' looks waar vrouwen van haar kaliber elke dag rekening mee moeten houden. Het maakt een look zo gracieus en toch ook enorm vrouwelijk. 

Het eerste wat ik morgenvroeg doe is de televisie aanzetten en mijn krant uit de bus vissen: vroeg opstaan heeft zo zijn voordelen. 

Hah, an extremely exciting night and day await. So sad that it was last year - and not this year - that I attended the course 'American Politics'. That's because the professor is a true entertainer (and America-specialist ofcourse) and I would love to see him talk passionately about the upcoming elections.

If Obama is obliged to leave the White House, the charming Michelle has to pack her belonging and get going as well. A woman with lots of character ánd style cause you have to admit: she knows how to dress. And deep down I'm a big fan of the conservative 'over the knee' look that women of her standing have to keep in mind every single day. It makes them look so gracious and feminine at the same time.

The first thing I'll be doing next morning is putting on the television and grabbing my newspaper out of the mailbox: I guess an early morning has it advantages.
